Virginia Beach, Surfing, & A Concert!

Portsmouth/Norfolk, Virginia
Over
Memorial Day weekend we took a brief trip down to
Virginia Beach to get some sun and surf! Virginia Beach is only about 3 hours away from where we currently live, so we're trying to enjoy as much time on the ocean as we can while we're close to it.
This July, we will be moving to Rapid City, South Dakota (pictures/more information
below in a previous post).

Crowded At Virginia Beach
One of the hightlights of the weekend was unexpectedly being able to see a
Los Lonely Boys concert on the beach one night!

Cruisin' The Beach
We
rented a beach bike again ! It was nice to ride up and down the coast. They have a dedicated bike path along the boardwalk which is very nice.

On The Boardwalk
Jennifer AMAZES me with her putt-putt golf skills! She beat me again! We had an unreal game of putt-putt at "Jungle Golf"... we had
9 hole-in-ones between the two of us in one 18 hole game ... seriously! It came down to the last hole and we were tied. She hit the ball in with just 2 shots. I took my first shot and got really close to the hole ... but I missed on my chance to tie it! If you haven't played putt-putt in a while - it's
more fun than you remember it was! Take your family or friends and
go for it! Let me know if you beat Jennifer's score
(35) on 18 holes! I haven't been able to!

Relaxing By The Water
Our 3 year wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of this month
(June 28) and I am so
THANKFUL for my incredible wife!

Enjoying The Married Life!

Ready For More Surfing!
I had
one of the most amazing days of suring that I have ever had! I caught lots of waves and had tons of fun!

Live Jazz Music On The Street
Virginia Beach is great at having live music and performances on the streets. The kid in the picture above was awesome! We had fun walking the streets and enjoying the beach culture.
