About Us
Brandon & Jennifer Bruce: We live in Lansing, Michigan where Brandon is the senior pastor at Faith Church. Jennifer was an elementary school teacher for 5 years, but now enjoys being a full-time mom. We try to see our life as a great adventure! We enjoy our weekly date night, love being around people, and love to travel together. We were married on June 28, 2002, both graduated from college at Indiana Wesleyan University, and have now also completed our masters degrees. We've been blessed with two little boys named Jaylon Christian Bruce and Kylan Jackson Bruce! God has been so good to us!

Jennifer On Bed Rest

We recently received the news that Jennifer will be on bed rest for a while! Our doctor was concerned that she might have the baby extremely early. For every week that Jennifer is on bed rest and the baby is safe, the chances of the baby living (if there is an early birth) go up about 10%. For every day that Jennifer makes it further, it's 3 less days that the baby would spend in the hospital. Please pray the little guy hangs in there for at least a few more weeks, if not a few more months. Jennifer's original due date was June 17th (Father's Day!), but that doesn't seem very likely at this point. We are at 26 weeks as of this weekend (there is a pregnancy clock on the top right that tracks how far along Jennifer is). Our minimum goal is 32-36 weeks.
Our church and many friends have been incredibly supportive and generous. Lots of people have stopped by to visit Jennifer and many people have helped provide lots of meals for the next couple of months. I guess they have reason to doubt my cooking since Jennifer can't do that for now. A few people have even volunteered to come over and help clean. We're surrounded by people that we love and they've been pouring on the love for us too!
